Child’s First Year of Life

Enjoy this video of daily experiences for a child during the first year of life. This is an interesting window into the stages of development during those early months.

Neglected children miss so much of this. Imagine the ones from foreign orphanages that spent that whole year alone in a crib. Sadly, many of children in the US are left alone in soiled diapers and have given up asking for food since there is infrequent response. No wonder they don’t know how to relate to their adoptive parents. They have a lot of catch up to do. I have seen dedicated parents bring such a child to life. They are my heroes.
