Career Counseling

Career counselors are professionals who hold degrees in related areas, such as Counseling or Psychology, who have chosen to concentrate in the field of career development.  Their strength is the academic training they receive in counseling, helping them to understand how different personalities work in a professional setting.  Typically, Career Counselors use interest assessments and personality inventories to assist clients with career planning.

Career Counseling is for:

  • Students who are deciding on a career major
  • Adults who are having difficulties finding and keeping a job
  • Individuals who are unhappy in their current job
